Two people have been hospitalized after a tree fell on them Wednesday at the South Carolina Botanical Garden.According to Clemson University officials, Clemson University Fire and EMS Department responded to the South Carolina Botanical Garden after receiving a report of two individuals pinned under a fallen tree around 9:10 a.m.Upon arrival, responders were able to rescue the two people from the fallen tree. The two individuals, who are non-employee volunteers, were transported to local hospitals. Officials have not released information on the victims current conditions.Officials said the area surrounding the butterfly garden is closed until further notice, while crews work to clean up the affected area. Counselors have been made available to staff and those impacted.
