Received this elephant ear plant and it was damaged on delivery. It’s definitely bent and won’t stay up on its own. Is it better to just prune this leaf, or should I tape it up and try to prop it up?

It’s going to be placed in an area with ample light and will be watered as needed

No don’t remove anything. Shock from relocation means this plant needs to be patiently settled in and allowed to acclimatise to light levels and to be consistently watered in order to do so. Liquid feed would be good too. Do not repot. Get into good robust health this season.

Yes I wouldn’t for now and make sure you have watered sufficiently

just leave it. Alocasia take nutrients from older leaves to recycle those nutrients to the rest of the plant. cutting it off would just deprive your plant of those nutrients.

I would cut a straw open, and put it around the bend and straighten her up! And tape her up!
