Pink lady radishes from seeds. I’m a beginner gardener looking for feedback. Please be kind!

    Time to start thinning them out! I would keep them at least 1.5 to 2 inches apart on either side. Keep the healthiest ones whenever possible! Good luck, radishes are fun for how quickly they grow!

  2. Radishes are good container plants as they are quick turnaround of 4 weeks.

    However you may have seeded too many here. They need around 2” of space and you maybe better off pinching every other plant, but it’s upto you.

    You don’t need to thin them. Harvest the biggest ones when they’re at an edible size, and leave the small ones to grow larger. You can gently brush the soil aside to see how big the bulb is. 

    They might bolt (form flowers) before they form a bulb, if so, just pull them up and you’re no worse off.

    Just use small scissors to snip out the weaker ones, so you don’t disturb the roots. You can eat the baby leaves as salad sprinkles, or in sandwich, etc. looks great! 👍
