  1. I'm one person and I plant at least 35 plants of tomatoes….I make and can tomato sauce and Chunky tomatoes… and I eat tons…I love tomatoes 🍅

  2. I would be really neat to see an experiment with the same plant in 3 identical pots: one with biotone (no compost, no liquid fert), one with land and sea (no fertilizer). And one with the liquid fertilizer only (no compost or biotone).

  3. I love how you can always find a place to plant things. Maybe some time you can show us where Bethany puts the plants she saves.

  4. Are you afraid to name the chicks because it’s hard on the younger kids when one of the animals die. I remember Bev and Dexter. 😊

  5. One of my most beautiful planters on my porch was done with a “pre arranged planter” from Lowe’s of all places like your 30 second type. I have yet to find the same again, but if I could it would be my choice every year! The Hibiscus plant is simply gorgeous! I’ve always admired but expensive foe an annual in my colder zone 5.

  6. Question: have you thought about planting some of the spring pansies or violas in your orchard? That would add a beautiful mix of color!

  7. A great video today lots of beautiful plants planted up today . good to see how the chicks are doing .just a inspiring video today for us all to see.

  8. Hi Laura, love your videos and I learn so much! Question: I noticed when you were planting the sunflowers, supertunias and salvia around the corner near your parking area that it looks like a service road behind the fence. Do you have a lot of those in your area? Are they for access for fire trucks, trash pick up, etc? If your property is gated (and I applaud you for that) how do service vehicles get in for weekly trash pick up or in an emergency?

  9. We are a family of 4 and I grow at least 9 tomato plants enough for us to slice for salads and make tomato relish. I make 6 jars; to sell at our local church shop.

  10. Ive had tropical hibiscus in pots here in NY 7b and they do get as large as you said but i only have planted them in 14" pots by themselves…The root system gets pretty dense on their own…Youll prob have to check mid season on them w/a mixed container..the plants will let you know too

  11. Good morning Laura, I am wondering if Proven Winners do “6-pack” annuals ??? I have tons of Landscaping areas that I what to do with annual plants…. But not a huge budget.. thanks so much.

  12. What a fun day excited to see how big the hibiscus is going to get in the pots looks so pretty. Samantha is so cute hope her foot feels better.

  13. You should look into "the 3 sisters planting" you plant corn, beans and squash all on top of each other. The roots of each help put nutrients that the others need and you can let the beans grow on the corn stacks so you don't need a trellis

  14. Whoever picked the music does an amazing job – seems to always fit the plants going in! So glad you mentioned the sunflower distain for fertilizer – I've tried many varieties this spring and didn't realize that was probably why I didn't get a good harvest before. THANK YOU!

  15. So interesting to learn about each plant: sunflowers don't require as much fertilizer, plant the tomatoes deep so they will grow strong roots from the buried strm. My favorite part was glimpsing Douglas' tail plume bobbing behind Laura and Russell menacing the 30-second planter.

  16. Oh my goodness the Hibiscus planters are Stunning, I can’t wait to see how large the flowers on them will get. I was at Creekside Nursery about 2 years ago while on vacation from California and I was so envious of all the Hibiscus Jenny had there, I promise you the flowers were the size of a dinner plate! Someday I am going to try growing them, I live on the coast and I believe they will do well in tropical weather🤞

  17. The mystery has been solved. I have been growing sunflowers in containers and fertilizing every Sunday and they haven't done well. So now I know to skip them. Hope this works. Thanks Laura!

  18. Love your garden so beautiful how are the strawberries doing? Girlfriend where are your knee pads and gloves ?? You’re like me when I get going it’s like oh well I’ll get my gloves later lol love your channel please show us Bethany’s garden . ❤

  19. Thanks Laura great video, I have a question though. Did you decide not to put your Pumpkin vines out this year?

  20. I love watching your videos. Just feeds the soul to see plants and seeds going into the ground. Everything is looking so good. That annual corner is going to be awesome (it already looks good.) Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day everyone.

  21. That flower bed is going to be amazing. You mentioned that you would come back later in the season and fertilize with water soluble fertilizer. Since you have so much to fertilize how do you mix it? I'm assuming you are using Proven winners I've always wondered how you would use it in such large quantities? I mean I just use a watering can and that takes me forever. I can't imagine what quantities you have to mix up.

  22. I love your garden how it is symetrical and european style looking. the low dark colored fence is beautfiul. Wow, love it.

  23. I have learned so much from you and have built up the confidence to transform my own flower bed into something I love! I was wondering, were you aware that the Proven Winners Hollywood Hibiscus doesn't like bloom fertilizer? I saw an instructional video put out by PW that recommends very low or even zero Phosphorus to be used on that plant, instead use a general, balanced fertilizer. Since you didn't mention it, I wanted you to be aware.

  24. Love it. The hibiscus are gorgeous. The corn and sunflowers are going to look amazing. The place by the driveway is going to be fantastic. Those sneaky little chics. So cute. Thanks for sharing this with us.💯💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
