I got an email from a local wondering if I could come check out her neighbors house. So, I hopped in my truck and met her over there. She told me that the lady has up and left and the house just sits here. It hasn’t been mowed in over a year and the next door neighbor is trying to sell their house with no luck. So, I got started on one of the biggest cleanups that I’ve EVER done. After completely uncovering the walkway in the back, I got on my Bad Boy mower for the next 5 hours to cut over half an acre of crazy overgrowth. I have a smaller deck on my mower to get into backyards, but it tore through without bogging down once.

So for the past two years, I think the lady moved away
and she hasn’t mowed it. The city’s mowed it once. It was over a year ago,
so this is at least a year’s growth. I feel bad for, obviously,
the neighbors on this cul de sac. I hear one of them is going to put
their house on the market and it’s got to be tough to sell your house. Trying to sell it right next to this. Yeah. So have they been able to
contact this lady at all? No, no one knows how to contact her. Weird. I mean,
I’m sure the city has something on her, but, I mean, none of the neighbors
know how to contact her. It looks like the house
itself is kept up with. Yes and no. Apparently there’s even
furniture still inside. I mean,
she just left from what we can tell. I wonder why? Yeah, nobody knows. It’s so weird. I saw that the AC was on still, too. Really? Yeah, the compressor over there. Oh, my gosh. Was spinning the other day. Well, I guess that’s a good thing. I can’t imagine what the inside would be. All right, well, thank you. I appreciate you letting me know about it. Sure. But this is so outrageous. Is crazy. I’m going to spend three
hours on my mower back there. Oh, my gosh! Hey everyone, Spencer here with SB Mowing, and I got this email from
this lady that’s a huge fan, and she’s here in my hometown of Wichita, and she said that there’s this house
down the street that she walks by every single day that is out of control. So I went to go check out the property, and she met me there just to
tell me what she knew about it. And luckily, she’s good friends with the people
that live right next door to the home, so she knew a lot about the house. Turns out a lady used to live here and
she just randomly moved out one day. She left all of her belongings,
all of her furniture in the house, and it’s been that way
for a year or two now. She doesn’t come by to cut the grass,
she doesn’t take care of the home, and no one’s seen her back since she left. Nobody really knows why she left, but they do know that she
moved about 20 minutes away. For some reason,
she’s still paying the taxes on the house, but she’s just letting
it sit here and rot. So I thought I would go
ahead and get cleaned up, especially for the neighbors, because the neighbor right next
door to the right is about to put their house on the market. So I know this is a big relief for them
because I couldn’t imagine trying to sell a house with that being next door. And this was a huge transformation
because some of the grass was taller than I am in spots, so you’ll want to be sure to stay until

That yard is so huge it’s like a park. It’s almost ridiculously huge. Plenty of room for a shed, swimming pool etc.

How weird to have a pad-mounted transformer in your backyard… I have one in my yard, but it is in my front yard right on the street where the utility company can access it easily. You could fit my entire neighborhood on that single property… O_O

It's kind of funny to me why the neighbors on either side don't just cut the small amount of lawn in front each time they mow their own grass. They are the ones who have to look at it! 😂

I weed eat everything, then mow, other wise all the grass not mowed leaves a mess.
i would have just left the back garden. no need to spend all that time and effort cutting the grass no one will see plus its better for the local ecosystem. just cut the front that people can see. maybe trim the pathway so that is visible, but leave most of it.
That little mower going through that big overgrown lawn made me think of "The little engine that could" story I read as a young person years ago. 😊
