The Eastlake Plant Swap will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17 at 35150 Lakeshore Blvd. Eastlake,

The swapping starts at 11:10 a.m., according to a news release

Participants are asked to bring a plant and then take a plant. They will receive a ticket for each plant they bring for another with a limit of four.

Even if people do not have a plant to share they should still come as organizers will make sure they leave with a plant while supplies last, the release stated.

The Eastlake Women’s Club will be hosting a basket raffle, with over 30 baskets, benefitting the Native Garden at Borac’s Landing, according to the release.

Also, Empire Small Engine Repair will offer free residential mower blade sharpening. No commercial blades allowed and participants must bring just the blade as workers will not be taking them off the equipment.

There will also be vendors selling Home & Garden products and services. Sticky Bees local honey, Back to Basics, Well Rooted Plants and Itsy Bitsy Veggie Co. are just a few of them.

A Master Gardener, Chagrin River Watershed and Mooreland Mansion Garden Club will be on hand for all plant-related questions.
