The visual attractiveness of your home is immediately enhanced by a magnificent front yard. But not every front yard landscaping plan is simple or inexpensive enough to be done by a homeowner alone. There are several simple and inexpensive projects that may make a big difference in the way your front yard looks if you’re trying to decorate it but are on a tight budget. In order to provide you with some ideas, we reached out to gardening and landscaping professionals to get their favorite budget friendly landscaping projects. Number one, create a small flower bed. If you’re watching your spending, a smaller flower bed is a good place to start. Instead of trying to cover entire garden beds with perennials, focus on a few strategic spots in your front yard and plant clusters of them for the most dramatic tiny flower bed. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Number two, install a trellis or arbor. When it comes to front yards and smaller backyard gardens, trellices and arbors are among the most cost-effective options. Pick one up already made or construct one from five or six hardwood branches strung together with wire or rope. Add visual interest by trailing climbing flowers and binds up the structure. [Music] [Music] [Music] Number three, plant perennial bulbs. Planting bulbs such as tulips, daffodil, and hyens is an easy and cheap method to have beautiful flowers blossom repeatedly. These subterranean gems begin to emerge at the same time that winter starts to let go, signaling the arrival of warmer weather, meaning you won’t have to keep planting flowers. You won’t even notice when the flowers in your front yard begin to bloom. [Music] [Music] Number four, focus on vertical gardening. Profiting from vertical garden space is yet another lowcost strategy for developing an attractive front yard. Transform an ordinary wall or fence into a work of art by growing climbing plants such as hops, clemetus, or even pole beans. If you’re into growing your own food, small in footprint and requiring only an empty wall or fence, a vertical garden is a great way to make the most of limited outdoor space. [Music] Number five, install window boxes. Utilizing vertical space can also be accomplished with the use of window boxes. Put your favorite flowers in them and change out the plants as they die back for a dynamic show. [Music] number Six, plant trees. Trees are an inexpensive landscaping addition that can be done in a day when bought as small saplings or planted from seed. Plant a showstoppping flowering tree or construct a hedge row to create seclusion and drama. [Music] Number seven, add a water feature. The addition of a calming water feature may transform an ordinary front yard into a sensory delight. A stone fountain or bird bath when set amongst plants will dramatically improve the look of your yard. I hope you enjoy the video and will consider subscribing to help support our channel.
