JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) – Families all over the Heartland celebrated Mother’s Day with their families by enjoying the sunny, warm weather.
Dozens did so at a Mommy and Me Workshop at Glass Gardens by Stacey in Jackson, Missouri.
Mothers and children decorated flower pots with rocks and pressed flowers.
After decorating the pots, attendees took the pots home to enjoy.
Mother Samanta Roth says the event is about more than gardening, “I really want experiences instead of gifts so this was a really good gift that he gave me so I can spend time with my little one.”
