    Pothos!
Ever since I moved to a new city I can’t seem to keep them alive… I have tried everything and used to have no issues with them. All my other plants are happy as can be. Must be something in the tap water here they dont like??

  2. willowwwm

Monsteras and ivys. I don’t know what it is about them but they don’t survive longer than a few weeks with me

  3. livefromthegrave

Monstera deliciosa. The only plant I’ve managed to kill multiple times lol. Meanwhile, my mom who is like the grim reaper of plants, has a BEAUTIFULLY fenestrated monstera in her kitchen with leaves over a foot across…right next to her dying pothos

  4. whypubescurly

purple hearts keep rotting whether i propagate em in water or soil they making me lose hair man

  5. HibiscusGrower

Snake plants. I murdered 2 already. I just decided to get another one so please pray for this poor snake plant.

  6. Monstera. She went from 11 leaves to 5 in about 4-5 weeks.

Gahdamn peace lily. In fact, no peace at all. More like anxious rage lily.

  8. sentient-seeker

Syngonium…I just don’t understand, does it want moisture or not!! 😭

  9. Ian_everywhere

I once killed a Chinese Evergreen (Agalonema) before I learned the proper way to water plants

Polka dots hate me. All of them. White, pink, purple, red. They all die quickly 😭

  11. SundewDownUnder

Heaven forbid I own any cactus, most I do is look at them the wrong way and that’s that.

  12. kaelaxsuga

Any succulent will not last more than a month with me

  13. DisembarkEmbargo

Ferns. I finally got 2 to survive in a small terrarium (probably the humidity) and a few outside as they are native but God. I could buy a new fern today and it could be dead tomorrow.

  14. EmmiPigen

Maidenhair vine(not fern) was sold to me as and essy snd hardy plant. But ive killed 3 so far. They do not like to dry out

Monsteras, spider plants and pothos some of the easiest plants to grow.im shocked to see people have problems growing them.for me it’s string of pearls

  16. I potted mint in January. I kept it in the sunroom. It died in March.

  17. Ok_Dimension5267

Orchids, every single one I had refused to live in my house🤣🤣🤣

  18. shortmanda1012

String of pearls. I have had 3 so far and I kill them every time.

  19. RegularOk3231

Fcking spider plants. I *loathe* those assholes 🙁

  20. Emergency-Poetry-800

Aloe Vera. I have tried so many times, but they all die within a month 😭

  21. ThinkJuggernaut868

Money Trees! I’ve had at least 4 and they just can’t seem to stay alive

  22. Capable_Hamster_2193

Succulents, I just can’t help but to overwater.

  23. SugarT0ast

Not a houseplant but I kill Strawberries and Lavender like it’s my day job.

  24. radarsteddybear4077

Aloe. I have over 100 houseplants and pretty good success overall but the aloe is usually looking near death.

  25. marin_merin

    zz plants.
They rot if i water them.
They also rot if i don’t water them.
Maybe i just suck at picking them and always buy pots with already rotting roots.
I buy one, don’t water at all for over a month, and it’s still liquefying.
It’s my third try and only the very small rhizomes survive every time… i think i’m done trying.

  26. MadamEvex

Aglaonema!! I’ve killed 4. Thankfully my Pictum Tricolour is doing okay but dear God almighty. Ive had them in high Humidity, watched them like a hawk so they don’t dry out, given them fertilizer, babied the hell outta them. THEY WONT LIVE. At this point I’ve just given up.

  27. Jade plant – I feel guilty trying, again; it’s like I’m selecting who will die next. 🫣

  28. forgotteau_my_gateau

I actually just gave up on my Rex begonia last week haha.

Succulents have proved very difficult for me!
