A wide variety of plants were on display at the event
KENT- Weather conditions were perfect for spring planting Saturday following the week-long rainfall and large crowds proved that when purchasing a variety of plants at the Putnam Veterans Memorial Park in Kent during Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Annual Master Gardener Plant Sale.
Shoppers selected a variety of perennials, herbs, shrubs, vegetables and unusual gardening gifts while Master gardeners were on hand to answer questions about planting, nurturing and harvesting.
