Looking to gain your opinion. I’m in northeast Wisconsin and put down some tuff turf 6 days ago after doing the bucket method. Some spots are thicker than others and I’m wondering if I should put some more seed down on these less thick patches?

6 days more and you will feel great. Some fescue takes up to 14 days to germinate and mostly depends on temp. Those spots could be more wet or shady or something so slightly different.

I like it, nice job. Give it another week and re-evaluate.

I don’t know how your lawn is going to turn out, but you did a helluva job doing prep work for seed. You’re my kinda people.

  4. 6-DAYS?! What are they putting in the water there.

OP, would you be willing to share a step by step for what you did to prep the ground for seeding? I need to do this in my yard. I have more visible grass, but still pretty bare.
