I had to pull these out of a pot that was way over crowded, so there was some casualties will these two pictures most likely die if I repot them because there not a lot of root there?
These things will grow and thrive if you kick and scream at them daily.
However, I wouldn’t report them to any authority. They are just trying their best.

They’ll be fine. These things can survive the apocalypse. Give them as much indirect light as you can to help them establish a good solid root system, and keep them in some nice gritty soil and they be rocking and rolling in no time. Plenty of roots there.

Absolutely. These are resilient plants. I got a small piece with hardly any roots. Planted it. And now it’s thriving.
These are commonly propagated as *cut leaf tips*… So, yeah… a full plant will be fine.
Intelligent-Cat-8688
These will be fine. Just let the wound callous and then replant them in dry soil.

Did they overstay their import visas?
Edit: yes, those should do great in loose soil. I would do very bright indirect light for a month or so, then gradually to full sun.

Please don’t report them. They just want to live and be free like the rest of us.

It depends on who you report them to. If it’s immigration I wouldn’t advise that at this time since things are a little tumultuous.

So I chopped the tip of one leaf off (like 1.5 inches), and it eventually grew a whole new root system and plant after 2 years. That’s right it survived almost 2 years as a leaf tip with barely any root system. The only way you kill these is overwatering.

Yes, They are gonna survive even if you report them

Reporting them shouldn’t cause a growth issue <3
sarg7ant
I would separate them and repot them individually, they are quite hardy plants.
PaintMeSunrise
I would not report them, they could be deported and I don’t think they would do well back in Africa. They look like they have built a successful life for themselves where they’re at.

See something say something. We’re all in this together!

I wouldn’t report them.
I’ve heard what they do to snitches.
_iron_butterfly_
Not only will they live… but they will live in 28 days straight over 105°F with a few days between 114°-116°F and freaking thrive. I thought for sure mine would die… nope. They loved being tortured.

Snakes usually turn on you if you report them.
