There are tons of surprise plants that popped up out of the sphagnum moss including the two ferns. So far only isopods and springtails for land critters, but both have self-sustaining populations now. The orchids have sent their "roots" down through the substrate into the water below. The volunteer ferns have as well and they create a really cool looking web of really fine roots.

In the water there's one plecostomus, two Otos, a dozen or so neon tetras and about a million Neo shrimp. They reproduce faster than rabbits!

    I wish I could add another tank on top of it to make more vertical space for the plants. Might have to do a custom tank next time.
