I gave my mom a cutting of my raindrop peperomia. I suggested to her propagating it in water, but there's mold all in the container she put it in. The cutting has grown roots, but now they have mold on it. Is there any way to clean it off without cutting that part of the stem off, or is it too far gone? Will using hydrogen peroxide kill the plant? The plant is in bright indirect light for a several hours a day

I think it’s fine you can just leave it
i’ve had this happen before! i just take the cutting out and let the stem/roots run under the faucet for a good several minutes to wash everything away and clean the container with hot soapy water a couple times before refilling with the fresh cutting. keep and eye on it and maybe just take the cutting and rinse it off every couple of days and change the water for a little while to help prevent it from coming back
You can use hydrogen peroxide.
Just swish the plant around in it a bit and let it soak for a while.
the container should be cleaned out and rinsed with it too.
i’m not seeing any mold in these pictures. as long as it doesn’t smell, it’s probably not rotting. the roots look healthy!
Don’t. Just rinse and put in clean water. You can do that every week or so.
Basically though, that mold isn’t bothering it, that part of the plant has changed from stem to root and the cells that were once “stem” are dying. The mold is breaking down those dead cells.
Algae and I think it’s a good thing. When I prop I keep in very warm sunny window and add water often. Seldom change the water though. Algae means there’s nutrients in the water.
My bestie puts JUST THE SLIGHTEST AMOUNT oh hydrogen peroxide into the water of her giant vase where she’s growing her monstera. She doesn’t want to rinse her plant every couple days of the growth and the HP is making it so there isn’t any growth aside the roots from the monstera.
