Nice Luke, wonderful video😊 Great you got a great deal on the compost, volume is always better, I cring watching people buy bags from nursury box stores knowing buying a yard or two even delivered is even cheaper😊 I belief composting bins will follow, turning them with a tractor will be easier too.
Great video. Luke you got started with garden videos and I’m happy to see you will keep refreshing info and give customers something to see. I also appreciate you being a great American company with great values and being and selling “American Made”. So many seed suppliers are passing off cheap China seed and charging more for them. MIgardener is an amazing place. Thank you Luke and Mi-team. AAA+
Anybody that has one Pot can benefit from you. I live in an apartment, "cides" galore, I lived through a stroke 3 yrs ago, and I can still grow plants using you're strategies. Great seeds! and strawberries! Love it!
You should level them beds first, then take your tractor into the woods and fill the bucket with rotting logs and fill the lower third of your beds, then add your compost. The logs will soak up excess water that your plants will need through mini droughts and decay to provide nutrients and you’ll need less compost to fill, saving money.
So you used all compost in your raised beds.I thought we had to use topsoil, compost, peat moss vermiculite mix! I put cardboard, twigs, logs, straw to save money on compost.
Did you intend to place the raised beds like that? And not level? Maybe because you've done so many you just do it without thinking. I'm out there measuring and leveling…😮
I’m curious about the trees that I saw in root bags in this video. Are you planting more fruit trees or are these simply decorative / shade trees to complete your garden area?
Luke, PLEASE source some Giant Redwood seeds, and plant some on your new property. They store so much CO2 from the atmosphere over the years and look beautiful and the world needs more trees. They might actually work as a natural wind block for your property? On your property they will be taken care of and safe for years to come. Looking forward to seeing your farm grow also, very exciting! Loving the passion you have for the apple trees and to help with biodiversity. Can't wait for the wild flowers also.
14 raised beds, 8 are tall raised beds. 4 have different berrys (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries) 1 with asparagus. The rest are veggies ( so far onions, potatoes, peas, lettuces, shallots and kohlrabi are in the ground) tomatoes and peppers in the house waiting for temps to get a little warmer.
You didn't say but I suppose you're going to put other products in your raised bed. I farm I have livestock I have an orchard I also grow vegetables in a field I do have a few raised beds I'm still not sold on them probably because I've always grown in the ground. I do enjoy your videos I like watching someone else work and you all do such a great job

Awesome Luke!
I love the farm. I love learning how you are organising these new gardens. How I wish I could have a piece of land to do this!

No hardwear cloth in the bottom?
Hey you listen to me and build a pond !!!!!!!❤❤🎉🎉😂
Do you level them?
Every time I see your icon in my notifications, I wonder why the Fleetwood Mac "Rumors" album cover art is in there.
OMG, watching this while planting. I have to use my hand shovel because my man took my shovel to work😳🤦. I want an auger for Christmas 😊
You make me wish I was in my 20s or 30s again , love gardening. …. teach about seed saving with each plant.

You are going to need some WIND BREAKER plants around your garden so your veggies don't get whiplash!!
Free compost tomorrow Saturday May 10, at Indian Summer Compost. @ Casco Michigan.

But Luke, I expected EVERYTHING to be done in 2 WEEKS!!! 🤣🤣🤣Take your time, I'm enjoying the journey!!!🍍🍎
More windy gardening as we seem to be in a similar situation, lol

farming is just large scale gardening, luke never abandoned the garden !
Wish the vego beds were more affordable for those on a budget. I bought 6 – 8×4 raised beds for the same price as one of the biggest beds.

Can’t wait to see the finished work😍🤗.
These raised beds can they be raised up high enough that I can work them from my wheelchair
MIgardener raised beds are super easy to build! I’m really enjoying mine. Thanks for another great video 💚
Backyard gardener here. For the first time, I had compost delivered. Three cubic yards AND still ran out!!! Cost $200
I went to our compost facility yesterday and filled up six five gallon buckets. I put them in the back of my small SUV and paid only $4.96.

When you grow corn, companion plant the sprawling squashes.
It really works out well.
I'm so happy for you, Luke. Everything is just coming together.
How are you going to keep the deer out.
So, you're saying make friends with someone who owns a tractor….I can do that!
