People living within a mile of a golf course had more than twice the odds of Parkinson’s disease. The risk remained higher for people living up to three miles away but fades after that. Pesticides, including neurotoxins, used to keep fairways and greens well groomed, have been linked to Parkinson’s.

Time for the government to cut funding for Parkinson’s testing, I suppose…

Or could it just be that statistically older people and seniors are more likely to live near golf courses and this show a higher rate of diseases that manifest later in life? Not saying that lawns are the best but just thinking more about the bias of a study like this.

The same has been found for people living close to agricultural fields, farmers, etc. The research is decades old at this point.

Pesticides are bad for humans, as it turns out.

That fact is that this information is suppressed in order to protect economic interests at the expense of human health – as with many other things.
