  1. LINDA you are such a true ambassador for your city and community! I appreciate the work you and Stuart do to encourage each one of us to “level up” the call on our lives to be a good neighbour. Sending love from Toronto Canada! 🇨🇦

  2. The praying mantis, the mouse and the dustbuster sounds like a children's book title, you should write a children's book.🐭🐀

  3. Loved the video…. But Laurie’s shirt is the bomb! The Stone Pony! She’s gotta be a Bruce Fan? Is she from New Jersey? Btw, love the roses Linda.

  4. I love my neighbor. He used to tutor my daughter in math but now he’s retired and older. My husband and kids now shovel the snow during winter time and we keep each an eye on each other’s house when we go on vacation.

  5. LOVE your guests today! Your neighbors are awesome. What a sweet video 🥰 I have my neighbor hooked on Linda Vater videos now. Yay me! I love your tennis shoes with the black sole you have on, may I ask the brand please. Thank you!

  6. Such a fun, natural video Linda. I always wondered if you were friends with your next door neighbor and how she felt about all the “ visitors” you get. Your property looks amazing!

  7. We live in a wooden cul de sac and what is so special are the children who moved here several years ago. One of my outdoor decorative rabbits used to hold a lantern. Sadly the lantern broke and that rabbit then looked as if it were waving at you. At about 2 yrs of age Harvey's mom was walking by with him in his stroller. He made her stop so he could wave at his new friend the Bunny. Every day they walked he waved. We made a laminated sign that the bunny held which said Hello Harvey will you be my friend? Well, you can imagine his thrill when he realized that the bunny knew his name. Harvey is 5 now and the bunny sits in a new place and he still gets a wave when Harvey goes by.

  8. I always loved your social patio idea! I would love to have something like that at my home. Maybe some day soon! It would be so nice having neighbors like that again! I have lived here 33 years. Seen so many changes during this time. People are still friendly we just don't get to spend time together. I always love your home's roof line!!!

  9. I LOVED this video!!! I felt like when you were sitting at the patio with Laurie we got to really really see your personality and it was so fun!

  10. I LOVED this video!!! I felt like when you were sitting at the patio with Laurie we got to really really see your personality and it was so fun!

  11. This was a great video. I live in what used to be considered the country but is slowly building with new homes. I live on my family's 50 acres, Mother, brother, sister and now her daughter on each corner of the property. My niece is between me and my sister. So my neighbors are my family, which is a blessing. We call our home a "ranchette" as we have horses and ride. I don't have children but my niece has a 2 year old daughter and is expecting her 2nd child in August, another little girl. Life is very full around here. Linda, I have all kinds of cowgirl ideas for your grand baby. We showed horses together for many years and having a grand daughter will be so much fun for you. I have many priceless memories with my niece, traveling to horse shows. Many trips to OKC and the area! Your have a fabulous equestrian center.

  12. Have Newly wed couple & my 82 year old spinster next door that keeps me informed on elections. And Grey, my neighbor on the otherside that is grandson, age 5, that loves my gardens & telling me about his day

  13. Really enjoyed this episode ❤ I live out in the country and cornfields mostly are my neighbors lol. But when I go into town which is about 7 miles away. I enjoy seeing familiar faces at my local grocery store and other businesses. 😊

  14. Love seeing the neighborhood behind the scenes, and the fun cross-section of ages and personalities! Love how laid back and relaxed you are while filming too Linda:)

  15. During the visit with Laurie, it felt like I was right there…would have loved that, what fun! Also, I never knew how the green screen with the weatherman worked! Zone3 Manitoba. 🇨🇦❤️💪

  16. I think my hubby and I are the quirky ones on the street. I’m 71 and he’s 77 and we’re the oldest on the street but definitely the most active yard wise. We’re always washing something, weeding the driveway, planting, moving plants and just finished a rail fence ( just about killed us). There are a lot of kids to watch riding up and down the road on various wheeled things and road hockey to watch. The guy who planes lumber in his garage at the end of the street is a bit much, but the young man across the street who has helped us shovel the driveway is a Godsend! Love my street! Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦❤️💪

  17. My neighbors are genuinely supportive, especially in times of need. In mid-March we had a significant hail, wind, rain storm and so many of the homes — built in early to mid 1900s — incurred damage to siding, shingles, windows, fences, and landscaping. In the days afterward, there were so many tangible acts of kindness. Those who had power ran long extension cords across the lawn to power their neighbor's fridges. Cleaning yards didn't stop along property lines but continued until the work was completed. Some who lost perennials were offered replacements from another's garden. We shared leads for reliable contractors to undertake structural repairs. Especially in an established neighborhood with seniors and widows, it was just marvelous to experience true community.

  18. A fun tour Linda, watching & listening to you chat with Lori. Sweet littles visiting with their butterfly nets. Oh and the climbing rose is taking off beautifully. Thank you Stewart for the lovely camera work, no dizzies or shaking 😁. My neighbors walk by normally with their dogs and always say hello, but with a few who comment how beautiful our yard is, I thank them but lol that I am always out here, but I love it. So satisfying in many ways 🌱🐝🪴🧘🏻💖

  19. When we were in Oklahoma City we just did a drive by (a couple times). Do people come knock on your door? Or do they just walk the street side of your garden? What’s acceptable? Is this a dumb questions? LOL!
