I haven't done a family picture and wanted to share. These were all starter plants when I got them. Pinstripe is oldest at about 3 years old. Starting from the top left, going clockwise:
- Ctenanthe Lubbersiana 'Golden Mosaic'
- Stromanthe Sanguinea 'Triostar'
- Calathea Majestica 'White Star'
- Ctenanthe Setosa 'Grey Star'
- Calathea Ornata 'Pinstripe'
- Calathea Roseopicta 'Crimson'
- Maranta Leuconeura Kerchoveana 'Rabbit's Foot'
- Calathea Makoyana 'Peacock'
- Calathea Concinna 'Freddie'
- Calathea Stella
Not pictured is a new C. Maui Queen that I just got, but it has spider mites.
I live in the PNW. Most of the plants are in leca, except the Pinstripe and Golden Mosaic, they're in a chunky soil mix. I maintain 50-60% humidity. They are in a Westward facing window and supplemented with Mother 32 and 16 watt lights and 2 Barrina T10 vertical lights. I might ditch the grow lights since the sun has been coming out more frequently. And they get full doses of Silica, Foliage Pro, and Cal/Mag in rain water once the reservoirs are empty.
