I just noticed this thing growing with my monstera. What is it?

    It’s a bean sprout. Sometimes it happens. Nurseries grow a lot of stuff and sometimes things end up in pots with other things. Or people reuse old soil. Beans can take a long time to germinate.

    Edit: From other comments, likely a flame tree seedling. Probably the same thing happened though. Nursery either accidentally planted in the same pot or old soil with a seed in it was reused and it germinated.

    okay that leaf that’s curled up in the foreground, ik this goes against all common knowledge but unfurl it and send a photo of it when you can. is the leaf in the back part of this whole structure as well?
