Looks like an Alder Leaf Beetle! Pond looks luxurious, lots of entry / exit points for amphibians and also thirsty pollinators! Awesome!

We built a pond a couple of weeks ago and these total beetles were our first visitors too! We now also have dragonflies and one extremely rotund wood pigeon!

This is beautiful! Perhaps add some native floating plants such as Frogbit (Hydrocharis morsus-ranae) to add shade, provide more hiding places for wildlife and outcompete algae!
