Dummer Down Brewery, situated at Dummer Down Farm, will host its annual Spring Party on Saturday, May 10, from 2pm to 10pm.

This year, the venue will celebrate the launch of its new courtyard designed by landscape designers, The Rich Brothers.

Harry and David Rich are famed for the BBC garden makeover show, Garden Rescue and will be on hand to talk about the garden throughout the afternoon.

Andrew Ferguson, owner of Dummer Down Farm, said: “Firstly, we are grateful to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for providing us with a grant that has enabled us to bring something truly special to the farm and somewhere our customers can relax and enjoy.

“The garden has improved the space next to the Honesty Café and Dummer Down Brewery. Customers can enjoy all we have to offer at the farm in a relaxing and beautiful space populated by seating, herbs, trees and hedging.

“What the Rich Brothers have designed is truly wonderful and will stand the test of time as it matures, so we extend a huge thank you to them”.

The newly appointed Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Cllr Colin Phillimore, will cut the ribbon to officially open the new garden.

Bars will serve freshly brewed beer from the brewery and many other drinks to suit all tastes, along with a variety of food trucks to bring nourishment.

Live music will play throughout the day, plus children’s entertainment and ceramic workshops will provide entertainment for youngsters and adults alike.
