This four year old monstera was chopped, propped, and repotted about 2 months ago. I’ve kept the same watering routine but leaves still dropped and yellowed. It sits in a west facing window all day every day, could that be an issue?
Unsure of how to proceed and what steps are needed to help this lil guy.

You need to assess the roots asap
Check the roots, if any are salvageable, trim with clean scissors up until the healthy tissue, cleaning in between cuts. You can spray the roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide, then repot in a pot size that is appropriate for the root size.
If all the roots look squishy, dark, or hollow, then I’d chop somewhere that makes sense along the stem and prop in water. West-facing window is fine, just seems like something you did caused root death from either under or over watering.
I think you might have a few problems here and things that could be improved;
1. The pot is too big – pick up a plastic pot with drainage that can go inside of a nicer looking pot if you wish. I’m not sure exactly how big that pot is but I might go for something half the size.
2. Support – I’d recommend adding a moss pole and tying the plants up with soft ties for support.
3. Watering – make sure you only water once the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry. I also like to occasionally mist mine.
Alternatively you could chop and prop to start with a clean slate.
