My mom has been watching a ponytail palm I’ve had for a couple years and just sent me this picture that the leaves dried up and fell off. Is there anyway to save it or is it done now that there is no leaves
Unsure how many hours of light it gets, she uses a water meter to check when it needs watered and it does have drainage

It looks like its already dead. Pony tail palms need very good drainage and are prone to root rot. That soil looks pretty moist. They need to dry out for at least a week between watering, and I mean dry. They also need to be by a window or outside.

Let it dry out completely, water it and hope for the best. Put it near sunlight too, give it motivation lol
