Hi guys! I've had this aloe vera plant for 2.5 years now. The instructions said to water 100ml every 2 weeks so I did that. But since I'm not home often I also do not water it regularly (once every month or so). I tried to cut the leaves to use the pulp and let the plant grow but it doesn't grow and mainly turns the cut area brown. Now the plant is also discolored/not as green as before. There is drainage from the pot, and I've never changed the ground/dirt/fertilizer (idk what's the word). What should I do? Thank you!

Don’t cut tip of the leaves except when it actually turns brown. Can you give more info on the light situation? It looks like it’s not getting enough sunlight. When the water drains into the plastic cup, does it just sit in it? It might need a bigger pot too, check under the pot to see if there are any roots growing out of the drainage holes
