Solidago canadensis i believe. weird little patch between the house and fence that i just let go. not terribly upset with the result once fall starts up 🙂

    Hard to tell from these pics but looks like horseweed, Erigeron canadensis, to me. Are the stems hairy? If so it’s horseweed.

    If it is super soft, you probably have Bassia Scoparia. Tumbleweed. Mexican Firebrush. You’ll know 100% if it gets red foliage in the fall before drying up entirely.

    I keep a patch growing in my garden because I love to eat the seeds as tonburi.
