I found this random bag of seeds in my dorm during move-out and don’t know where it came from. I want to grow them to see what they are, but have no idea how to do so. Do I put them all in moist paper towel bags? I don’t know much about plants, but I know different plants have very different needs. If I can get them to sprout, do I grow them together? It was in Alabama, if it helps, though there’s no guarantee that’s where they came from.

On paper towels on a plate, with some ventilation and keep the paper permanently moist. Give it air and it shouldnt go mouldy. Maybe cover it from above to stop dust falling on it but still let it breath.

Dont plant stuff you dont know what it is tho

Some vegan somewhere is missing their stash? Some of these look like seeds of asteraceae, and sage… And some look quite old. Could this have been for making bread?? Very strange to have such a variety mixed together.
The most headache free method is to flatten a bed of seed starting mix and sprinkle the seeds over it, followed by a light spray of water.

The little triangles with a fuzzy top look like blanket flower, they do better with a cold start or direct seeding in the fall.

The brain looking balls look like nasturtium, I love the looks and they are edible. Direct seed, and enjoy, if they are happy they busy out well.

The little beans I would guess lupin, direct seed and pray since I have never had great germination rates but once they are started they like to come back annually for me.

    Sorry that’s all I recognize.

i think the fuzzy dandelion-esque seeds are wildflower seeds, i am just not sure which ones exactly. i planted some from a pack and they looked just like those.
