it was my first time trying to impale with Acanthocereus Tetragonus (barbed wire), the sprout was really fresh (like 1-2wk old) but i had a hard time shaving it down accurately and probably shaved off too much. the TBM 2.0 pup was also older than i thought and much more solid cored than I'd usually want for an impale graft. 🤞
