I got him a few? Years ago now, and I don't know if I'm being an idiot or not. The stem is slightly squishy, but I don't know if it should be 100% rock solid or if that's acceptable. The leaves also look kind of droopy, and since I got it, it's not had any pups or anything- I took a cutting last year from the top and even that still hasn't had any new growth, just calloused over. The cutting I took from it also doesn't seem to have grown much, though that one has more sticky-uppy leaves (scientific term)
I'm just confused- it doesnt look dead but I can't imagine it's healthy?
I watered once every two months (or less) over winter, and once every few weeks from april-september. It sits by a West facing window or under a grow light. Pot has drainage, soil is a 3:1 mix of perlite and regular potting soil (is that where I'm going wrong?)

These plants wants loads of light. Yuccas are more suitable for outdoors but if indoor put it in the brightest spot
