Hi everyone! I’ve been saving up to do some landscaping work for my front beds. I really want a full, flourishing set of plants. I am looking for advice on how to approach planning out & selecting plants, as well as how to tend the soil before planting. Truly any advice is appreciated.

Rent or borrow a sod cutter throw the sod in a wheelbarrow and haul away to ur local compost site. Depending on ur budget pick out edging plastic/ natural stone/ bullet noise edgers etc.. than lay fabric to prevent weeds i recommend the better quality stuff. Can’t help on plants as I’m not from that area but looks like the landscape beds will be part shade and part sun for looks at plants that require that. In my area river rock is popular and looks awesome so that what I would use 2-4 inches the larger stone. Harder to move and handle but in the long run they won’t wash away and stay put more

I’d start first with deciding if you want perennials or annuals. Perennials will be much easier so you don’t have to plant every year. Then I’d analyze how much sun each area gets. Some plants need full sun, partial sun, do well in shade, etc.
