I’m guessing they included the pot in the price but still expensive!

I bought a pack of cosmos seeds from Lidl for 29p, I’m going to be rich! But yeah, that’s ridiculous.

Good lord! That’s expensive even for a perennial that size, let alone an annual.

It’s expensive yes but my local nursery sells pots like that for £15+ so it’ll be a similar sort of place.

Have you seen the price of pots at the moment?! Probably a £3 cosmos if it was in plastic :’D

It comes with the table, silly.

I’ve seen one large foxglove for £18

Another example of ‘rip-off’ Britain. There are so many small and large businesses who just think complete over-charging is fine. Our neighbours own a local coffee shop where they charge £4 a scone and extra for butter. My advice is just don’t buy from these businesses.
I grow plants for a charity plant sale and we charge £2 for 2 large Cosmos. OK they are not in terracotta pots but they are the ones that grow to 3-4 ft and have more than one stem. They will flower June- late September. This one here will be dead in a month.

We had a humongous cosmos come up on our allotment plot last year, dropped all its seeds, starting to come up again now. I’m gonna start sticking it in pots, I’ll flog each one for £15. With the amount we have, this time next year we’ll be millionaires!

They could have pinched it out, given the price.
