In this long, peaceful garden tour, I’m inviting you to meander through our organic food and flower garden—sharing what’s growing, what’s blooming, and how we tend this space with intention and love. It’s not just about gardening tips (though you’ll get plenty); it’s about slowing down, noticing beauty, and reconnecting with the land.

Whether you’re dreaming of your first raised bed or deep into your gardening journey, I hope this time in the garden brings you peace and inspiration.

🌱 You’ll see:

What’s growing in our May garden
Food + flower gardening ideas
Organic practices & natural pest control
Companion planting + seasonal rhythms
Thanks for walking with me here at Roots and Refuge Farm—where we grow food, beauty, and a slower way of life.

  4. Oh my word. I love this so much!! MN girlie here and like my WI friend, living vicariously through you for now 😊

  5. Watching from Minnesota. I started watching your videos the year Miah’s mom passed away. Since then I think I’ve watched every single video you’ve put up on this channel except maybe a couple where Miah was building something 😅

  6. The way I'm already tearing up 🥹 these mean the world to so many of your viewers. Thank you for always showing up for us and sharing a piece of your heart ❤

  7. ❤ The film from above is is great puts things in perspective 👌 ❤from eastern Colorado

  8. I’m ridiculously excited about this garden tour!!! Watching from Arkansas. I learned so much from watching your old tours when you were in Arkansas. Exactly as you said, I learned what to expect from plants. I also saw some exciting varieties I wanted to try in my own garden. Today I will plant dragon tongue bush beans because I saw the way they looked in your garden. I also started Pippin’s Golden Honey and Arroz con Pollo peppers because of the way you talked about them. Dr Wyche and Paul Robeson are growing in my garden for the first time because they are your favorites and I want to give them a taste. Can’t wait to get some new insight from this year’s garden tours.

  9. Hello from Minnesota!
I'd just up-potted my seedlings last night while watching your R&R Farm Anniversary video.
I'm looking forward to Season 2025! One could say, "It's wild Ranunculus" how excited I am for this garden tour! 😂

  10. Watching from Western North Carolina…..so excited for the first garden tour of the season! Your videos are one of my favorite parts of the week ❤

  11. I have to work, so I'll have to watch it later. That's ok though because I volunteered my time. I'll be helping ppl build their own hanging baskets & talk about plants 😊 I'm in Oregon & excited to start my garden over. My chickens had a party on my raised beds.🤪

  12. I’ve been watching your videos since 2018 and not sure if I missed any since then. Actually, sometimes I binge on those old videos. Much has changed, and our love for gardening keeps growing. Love from Connecticut (from a Brazilian girl ❤).

  13. East central Minnesota here. Seedlings getting ready to go out & waiting for the first hummingbirds to show up. I love your videos.
