Just wondering if my office mate's plant can be saved. Most of the brown parts are pretty crispy, but feels more solid closer to the green portion.
Was thinking if we removed the dead portion there might be hope. Any suggestions/advice is appreciated!

Your intuition seems perfect to me! Cut away the crispy bits and although smaller, you have a (bit dehydrated) plant. My guess is the crispier side was closer to some light source?
