Got this little guy at a craft fair and am wondering what the best way to care for him is. I’ve never had an air plant before and the lady I got it from just said to mist it occasionally. Any advice is much appreciated
First off, may I say that the wine glass in the back is positioned so well, I was wondering how you found an alien ship for your airplant. 😂 Second, you’re going to want to give this plant a little soak in water. I’ve got some with this sea urchin shell on the top, and you just want to make sure water doesn’t get inside of it. I actually take it out of the shell and put the entire airplant in water about once a week for 10-15 minutes. I never really mist mine. Then I let it rest in this upside down position to allow it to dry out. If water sits in the base, it can rot. Then I put it back in the shell. If you have a dryer place, you may have to water more. They like bright, indirect sun and can flower!
