got this from my boyfriends mom and it’s just gotten worse. i have no idea what’s wrong. was super overwatered so i let it dry out for a while and only watered when soil was dry. maybe gets a little too much light? sits in really bright indirect light

How long has it been since you got it ? Sometimes it takes a while for them to recover. If you’re not seeing yellowing leaves, it might be okay. My pothos once took a good 2 months to recover after a repot.

How long does it take for the soil to dry in between waterings? Does the curling go away when you water?

  3. The pot is too big for the plant! And it looks like it hasn’t had enough sunlight.

Take it out and inspect the roots

If it was overwatered it likely has root rot despite you leaving it to dry out. The rotten roots need removing and it needs completely fresh soil free of bacterial to flourish.

The curling leaves = inadequate water getting to leaves, from what you’ve described your watering schedule is fine and it doesn’t perk up after watering which makes me think the roots themselves have an issue

I would cut the long stem on the right back to the two upper leaves, and put the two end leaves stem in water. they should recover. then follow everyones advice on checking roots, and trying to get the rest of the plant survive.

trim it, a little– maybe 1/3 of these long stems. i don’t think the pot is too big, but I the advice to take it out to check and see if the roots are rotted is good advice. these plants are pretty hardy. it will recover.
