She’s now singing her swan song as this is a true death bloom. Absolutely no chance of creating pups 😢

As mentioned in other posts I got this when I was in high school back in ‘15. (Gosh I feel old) It was barely 3”-4” across at the time. Collected from fallen tree branches where there was a plethora of dislodged plants.

I might try hybridizing it with curly slim, fasciculata, or anything else in subg. tillandsia. Wish me luck!

    That’s so cool! But how can you tell she won’t be producing any pups? Don’t most tillandsia do that post-bloom?
