She’s now singing her swan song as this is a true death bloom. Absolutely no chance of creating pups 😢

As mentioned in other posts I got this when I was in high school back in ‘15. (Gosh I feel old) It was barely 3”-4” across at the time. Collected from fallen tree branches where there was a plethora of dislodged plants.

I might try hybridizing it with curly slim, fasciculata, or anything else in subg. tillandsia. Wish me luck!

    This guy really started taking off once I planted it in chunky orchid media & leaving water inside the tank. Pretty much has water in it 24/7/365 unless it gets in the thirties.

    Also sprayed it with fish emulsion whenever I remembered too (like 5 or 6 times a year 😅)
