  1. Whatever you do, don’t get rid of your dormant root asparagus crowns. I bought the purple passion last year and the crowns were amazing. Looking beautiful as they are coming up this year as well. Just ordered Martha Washington to fill in some empty spots in my original bed.❤

  2. My sister and I have been starting seeds together, and I have noticed that my seeds from MIgardener have a much better germination rate than hers from elsewhere. If it wasn’t so sad, it would be funny seeing my trays jammed packed with seedlings beside hers with only a handful seedlings. Many of my seeds were from 2023, because I was trying to use my older seeds first! So yeah, the seeds have to be the primary focus of your business to maintain that high quality.
Are there any slow times of the year, where you might be able to offer merch for a limited time?

  3. I love how you are so strategic, like when you chose to raise the amount for free shipping instead of raising the price of seeds. You do a great job of taking care of your business and us. Just a thought- what about a merchandise drop just for the holidays? That way, we can get our fix, our gifts, and maybe would be a boost for you during the slower time?

  4. One thing I would say is " keep one of everything you used to sell " for future reference in your ole age store history.
So much historical significance is lost thru the years by not keeping records of how the business has grown . Our STATE, MICHIGAN, needs these businesses' adventures and progress thruout their developments and how far they have made their mark in supporting communities. IMO.

  5. Want to thank you for all you do. Believe others, like Hoss, need to follow your lead. Hope to come home this year at some time want to visit. Thank you, wife, and staff
Gail. Ps first time I have tried to commet so I hope this is right

  6. We are long time customers and understand completely. We will continue to support you because when I started gardening you were there for me.❤

  7. SKU pairing is a good move. It is a constant core process you should evaluate every year

  8. I'm glad you still have everbearing strawberries left and I just got one bunch of each to split with my daughter for our gardens. I'm looking forward to seeing what ones I like the most and of course some more Trifecta. I just wish you still had some lettuce mixes left. I love to scatter sow them as a living mulch

  9. This is something that every business has to do on an ongoing basis. It’s called PLS…product line simplification. You refocus on your core business, what brings the most value to your customer base, and what makes you the most money for the effort you put in. Keep up the good work!
