Top-left corner is black cherry tomato with a companion marigold. Below it is Roma, which I companion-planted with a Black Opal basil, and to the right is a Liguria beefsteak with its own baby marigold.

    I planted marigolds with my tomatoes last year and somebody (i suspect the earwigs) absolutely SHREDDED them. the tomatoes were fine but man i really wanted those marigolds too T-T

    I’m thinking of doing grow bags too. How is the watering demand? Good idea on the wood shavings, I may try to copy you.
