Should I add moss to keep this area moist for the arial roots? I mist it almost every night and it’s under a humidifier.

Use the humidifier not to shoot the vapor directly on the plants but to up the humidity of the space in general 👍🏽

wow. can i ask what drove you to do it this way rather than a moss pole or even a plank just in a humidity cabinet?

Misting is generally unnecessary and can cause fungal issues, especially if you are also using a humidifier. R.Tetrasperma is a hardy, fast grower and doesn’t need much special treatment. Also hope your wood is quite long because that thing will grow FAST. I like to just tie the plant in place as it grows to encourage the aerial roots. Once it takes to the surface I remove and ties or adhesive that was helping the stem stay in place.
