❤❤❤❤ PLEASE KEEP TUCK IN ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS, HE BRINGS ME MUCH HAPPINESS, I LOVE TUCK SO MUCH!!! I WATCH ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS AND I SIT AND WAIT TO SEE TUCK POP UP AND I SMILE AND TOUCH MY PHONE KIKE I AM PETTING HIM!! EVERY TIME I GO IN MY GARDEN I THINK ABOUT TUCK A LOT, AND YES I PLANT CARROTS FOR TUCK!!! I LOVE AND MISS TUCK VERY MUCH BUT WHEN I SEE TUCK IN YOUR VIDEOS HE MAKES ME SMILE AND I FEEL SO EXCITED. LOVE TUCK ALWAYS!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
"… it made a huge difference, but not for me…" 🤣🤣🤣
much love 💛💛💛 thanks for the information. Don't stop talking about Tuck. He was apart of your life and your channel. I love seeing Tuck in your videos; even though he's not with us anymore (but in spirit he is). Thank you for the information; much needed and I will get started.
My carrots are doing great! ❤❤❤❤
So 7b is similar to 6a?
❤❤❤
Dern squirrel! I got a treacherous fella who is terrorizing my spring peas!😂
Hey James could you please make a growing guide on winter squash?
I live in Texas, I started watermelon, corn, carrots, radishes, bell and jalapenos peppers, lettuce, cantaloupe, and tomatoes 8-9 weeks ago. Besides the peppers and tomatoes, everything was started by seed and is already flowering and/or has fruit on it. My corn is like 3ft tall.
❤❤❤ for Tuck!
Absolutely talk about the Young King. He was a precious gift you shared with all of us. Sometimes thinking of him is bitter sweet but eventually the sweet will out weigh the bitter. He was the embodiment of joy and I will always remember him when I harvest carrots.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ JUST FOR TUCK!!!
FUN FACT: Squirrel meat is good stewed or fried. Especially with fresh grown veggies!
James do you still have fedco out there where you are vanco van closed down out here in California for years
Fedco has been closed down since the late 90s
Twin Cities, MN still hv lows in 30s to 45 degrees in a few days. Only hv potatoes, plants, herbs & snapdragons in garden. Thnx for telling us to wait. Patience is the key indeed. ❤❤❤❤❤ Take care, Mr. James

The peanut story was so good 😂😂😂
I like growing radishes but ive never had a sweet one in my life. Sauting them like onions (or with onions) is an excellent way to use them. Goes well with steak.
♥miss him but love seeing him. Just like we all like looking at pictures of our past loved one. So it is nice. And the little squirell oh my gosh the bugger. I learned a lot of great tips in this one. I am getting excited for the growing season now even more. Carrots are going in 🙂
Thanks! My tomatoes and peppers were planted last autumn. The peppers produced over the winter and have flowered again now. Cherry tomatoes have gone crazy with production this past month. Soon these nightshades will stop production due to the intense heat. I can only try to keep the plants alive via shade cloth until autumn when they can produce again if they survive the Phoenix area summer.
My squash was direct sewn from seeds in March and is flowering now. Same with cucumbers and melons.
Malabar spinach is one of the stars of my summer garden each year. Egyptian spinach too. They can even take the Phoenix area heat under shade cloth. I live on both of these greens all summer. You might want to try Egyptian spinach some time too. It has a milder flavor than Malabar spinach. I also grow New Zealand spinach. It survives our summers in shade but really takes off during the spring. You might like it too for another summer green. These all 3 provide lots of salad greens for me even here in the low desert.
I'm rooting my sweet potato shoots now.
I love zinnias during the summer. Several have been planted now. Sunflowers are going in soon too. My nasturtiums have been growing well for the past month and will die off in the heat next month.
My lettuce has long gone bitter but the kale and Swiss chard are doing great.
My carrots failed this past winter because I failed to redo the soil in the pot from the previous year. Will fix this next winter.
I had to laugh at this story! The peanuts were just too enticing to that squirrel!
Carrots going in tomorrow! ❤❤❤❤❤
Though there are no frosts, the temperatures do still go down to 5°C (40°F). Is it safe to plant my cucumbers yet? I planted one, but gave it a glass jar on top as a mini greenhouse.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
James, I've been watching your videos for years and I LOVE your infectious enthusiasm for gardening! I've learned SO MUCH from you and I want to grow EVERYTHING that showcase, too. Do you know how good squirrels taste? Love yuz, brother! THANK YOU for all your hard work and dedication in producing these videos to share with us! I think it is perfectly natural for you to feel the way you whilst in your food forest…it is where God put the FIRST MAN and set him about tending that garden. Keep up the good work!
I love seeing and hearing about Tuck, He is still present and a part of what you do, please dont let a few people who can't see that stop you from sharing him and talking about him. It feels so right seeing him in the past videos and I like when you mention him. I lost my little girl of 16 years just before you lost Tuck, I can't imagine not talking about her and sharing my favorite memories of her.
In memory of Tuck ❤❤❤❤💚💚💚💚💚
❤❤ Love the clips of Tuck & will enjoy them as much as you want to share ❤❤ When you are ready, consider adopting a shelter dog…I think Tuck would approve ❤❤
I like seeing Tuck, but yes, it is a little sad too. When you are ready for another dog, you might consider a Westie—they are very good at rodent control and will chase away the squirrels. My Westie Marci is on top of squirrel patrol…and has also fallen in love with worms. She will hang out with me when I am planting with the hope of finding a worm to sniff.
I miss seeing Tuck, but he will never be forgotten! I have planted carrots and will think of him when it's harvest time. My dogs turn their nose up at veggies.
