
She’s owned this plant 25+ years, and it spent most of it small and sickly. The past 5 years or so, it’s decided to be astoundingly exuberant, grew from ~4’ to the ceiling and has now put out flowers… just wanted to share this crazy thing, I still don’t believe it lol

That’s because the poor thing spent 20 years in Squamish. All rain and no sun. We moved to the Southern Interior 5+ years ago and it has really enjoyed the heat and sun. It was a job and a half keeping it alive on the coast.
mine just did this in march! i had the space heater on in my plant room and i guess it loved that. whole back of the house smelled heavenly for days. enjoy it!
