Our snake plant flowered and the smell is super strong. I Google says it's a sign of stress and rootbound.
Should I repot?
We use the app Planta for watering and is by the window south facing so every time there's a ray of sun this plant gets it

Flowering can be a sign of stress, but usually that’s more of a plant that may not make it putting its last energy into the next generation. This looks pretty good otherwise and they can also flower when they’re doing well.
This guy looks pretty happy and unstressed and doesn’t look too root bound (not that that’s too much of a problem for these guys anyway as long as it has the nutrients and drainage it needs.)
Have you noticed anything else that makes you worry it isn’t doing well??
Flowers usually mean it’s doing great. I wouldn’t recommend using an app for watering, it’s better to check if the soil is mostly/fully dry and then water it thoroughly. Could be 1-2 times a month for a snake plant
