  1. I live in zone 8, and I just cut my Moringa down after the 1st frost. The trees regenerate with new growth coming from the stumps every spring. The trees grow huge by midsummer, and there is huge surplus of moringa.

  2. Have you tried taking cuttings and stick in a pot and over winter in your sun room? I usually plant my moringa from cuttings. Faster that way

  3. Zones can change. We used to be a functional zone 3, been working with zone 4 for years, now garden sources tell us we are zone 5.

  4. Good Morning Kaye – Have not tried to grow moringa or artichoke but appreciate your experience with overwintering it. Glad to see you have multiple helpers this week as the heat is coming for sure. Be sure to rest up between projects as the season is just getting started. Take care…

  5. Hey there dear kaye,,wonderful to see you m on your homestead, certainly lovely sounds of birdsong, oh what a nother precious time of yesr, hmmm!.lovely 😊xx

  6. I'm glad your Plant made it! Moringa Powder tea keeps my arthritis pain at bay, 1/2 tsp a day and I'm good to go.

  7. Those Azaleas! They are beautiful. We were 92 degrees yesterday with the "real feel"……..after being in the 60's the previous day.
Wow! Love seeing the new growth on the artichoke! Might try growing Moringa but I am growing too many things already. I need a nap just thinking about it. God bless you, Kaye!

  8. I always wondered if Moringa could grow in Oregon.
I planted a cover crop in my garden bed and now do you till it in? This is a first time.
