Back story: I overwatered. I cut off the bad parts in hopes of getting it to root again. I cut, waited a week and just repotted with special succulent potting soil, sand, perlite and rocks. This brown spot existed before this process, but seems bigger. Is this something I should cut out?

If it’s getting bigger, I would definitely cut it out & dust with sulphuric powder.
