I have propegated my haworthias into these three mature plants (plus plenty of babies 😅) and they are super overdue for a repotting!

They are currently in one 7" and two 6" pots. I am going to look for 8/9" pots at the garden center but should I exclusively be looking for shallow pots? Or will they do okay in deeper pots?

Also – do you all trim them and continue to propegate/toss babies to curb growth as time goes on? I love how big these guys are but don't think I would upgrade them to a bigger pot after this round of repotting just looking at my space availability.

Thanks!

What to do with babies (keep together, separate, rehome, or toss) is a matter of personal preference and space. Yes, plenty of folks just thin them off and keep the parent.

I think they’d be fine in deeper pots, but I think I personally would look for wider and NOT deeper at this point, for moisture control and looks. Make sure you’re mixing a good amount of extra grit in the soil at this point because larger pot = more soil and slower drying.

Can I ask what kind of Haworthia this is?! I have one just like this that I was given and I’ve been having a hard time finding a name.

It could be Haworthiopsis attenuata v. concolor
