I’ve had her for at least 2 years with no issues and lately she’s been dropping leaves and going brown. Hadn’t made any changes to its care so tried increasing watering but hasn’t done much. It’s late afternoon sun but not too hot.

Repot her with new well draining soil and make sure the pot has a hole to drain excess water

If you’ve ever repotted her before, this probably won’t be the case, but if you haven’t, take her out and inspect the roots! I had a money tree for 3+ years once, and it grew happily until one day it started dying (seemingly randomly), so I went to repot it and found its roots tied together!!

Apparently it’s a common thing for plant shops to tie a rubber band around the base of money trees to keep the branches braided together… but if left long enough it completely suffocates the roots & they rot!

If your trunks are nice and solid (not mushy or darkening) then this probably isn’t the issue, but if you’ve never repotted her, take her out and check! (And then I’d probably repot her back into the same pot with a bit more added drainage 🙂

needs a repot ! shes likely extremely root bound if she has been growing, and nutrients are probably sapped
