  1. English Ivy 0:32 considered weeds across the pond? We use it for ground cover everywhere in the Midwest USA.
Only asking because the Purple Passion plant is considered a weed in Africa.

  2. I prefer crawling plants. Yes you need to be patient the first 2 or 3 years. But after that. It is hassel free.

  3. Grandfather's Weeder ftw, makes quick work of pulling tap roots and weed clusters without bending over constantly. And agree, mulch, mulch and more mulch. Add a layer of cardboard under the mulch to prevent the nastiest weeds from popping up.

  4. I have been loving these videos, the vibe is so chill 😊This channel has swooped in to fill the void during the season where I stop focusing on my houseplants and get out in the garden. It's such a great time of year and I'm glad I have this to watch along with my usual gardening youtubers!

  5. My weeds in Indiana seeing your mulch and laughing. Here, you have to put down landscape fabric first, then mulch. Even if you have several inches of mulch, the weeds here will find a way if there's absolutely any dirt underneath.

  6. I like my weeds especially dandelions, great for the pollinators and for me a salad green as well

  7. Thank you for posting this video. I’m in the process of actually mulching my garden but after your video I won’t be doing it until at least August that will give me time plenty of time to actually design my garden. I find you very informative on your indoor plants as I have money, especially succulents great video keep on making these videos swell. 🌸🌼

  8. A good video, mulch mulch mulch it protect your plant during the heat blasting down on my plants (I’m in Sydney Australia) & frost in winter. I put about 3 ins deep….

  9. Be carefull with wood as mulch as it can cause the soil to become more acidic short term. Do add lime when you use it around fruit and nut trees.

  10. I wouldn’t recommend spreading stones and pebbles in the garden bed. Over time, they will sink into the bed and make it almost impossible to dig into the bed to plant new plants.

  11. I would need a LOT of mulch to make an impact on my garden.Try a 7" FLOOR SCRAPER. Gets at the back of the beds easy. I still go by hand but the floor scraper allows me to turn bigger areas, harder ground and bits further away without crawling into the bed itself
