  1. Hi from long Island I discovered electric orange sun patients few years back , they always stay in bloom and never wilt. Love seeing them from my backyard seating area they have earned a spot in my garden on repeat !

  2. I love your sleeves. I like to cut up the body of sweaters to make pillows. But then what to do with the sleeves? Now I know. I can use them to wear while gardening.
Thanks for the tip about keeping myrtle wet all of the time. I had one last year that kept drying out and finally I had to give up. I will maybe try again this year in a different pot.
It really makes me sad to see you pull out your pansies. May I suggest you plant them up and put them in shade, like outside your kitchen window, in that alley way. Keep deadheading them and they will stay fresh for a little while longer.

  3. As I watch you trim your topiary I am wondering if you will keep it small or let it grow bigger?

  4. Hi was thinking of you last night shopping at the garden centre at Home Depot. There was a whole stack of flowers that got damaged
Because of the cold here in Ontario awhile back . Well there were some pink hyacinths and yellow tulips . The price was 25.00 with tax well called manager for a discount she said I can do I/2 price I said that’s too much well got planter for 5.00 lol only one too. Will put in ground in a couple of weeks till the hyacinths are gone. I’m very picky don’t like too many flowers unless they have a scent and are perennials. Roses lilacs peonies etc

  5. I could never pull pansies or anything else til they are spent. I enjoy flowers til their dying day! Then I replace them. I move to a new home and have roses, which I have never had. WHen the gardner said he had to cut them back, I almost died.. since they were full of blooms. But they did come back fuller and denser than ever, The way you described your moms plant combo .. sounds like the classic thrill, filler and spiller . I learned that years ago and it never fails to make a statement . I just lust after your pleathora of terra cotta pots. Out here in California they are so high priced now. I have to think about a purchase. Just a normal large one now at Lowes or Home Depot are over $40.00!!!!!!

  6. I always enjoy your videos. Have learned so much from your videos. ** I’m looking for the app you featured awhile back that can be used to see subscriptions you may have forgotten. Then you can unsubscribe. I would appreciate the information again. Either the name of the app or the video to watch to acquire the information again. Thank you!

  7. I HAVE EVEN REDDER AND LARGER GERANIUMS IN THE BACK, LIKE YOURS. i LOVE THEM SO MUCH. After they are all bloomed out, do you cut them back and fertilize?

  8. Thank you Linda for enjoying the visit from the cat instead of one of those who can only complain. Cats do more good then they do bad! No rats or mice where I live because of the cats!

  9. Linda, love your channel; what an inspiration you are! Question. Here in Fort Mill, SC your favorite mulch Hapi-Gro is not available. Do you still use this brand and, if so, could you provide a resource? If no longer using, can you recommend your new choice in mulch?😊

  10. Gorgeous!
HOT TIP on keeping kitties from ruining your nepeta… when it’s small, cover your nepeta with a gardeners supply chicken wire cloche. The nepeta will grow up through the chicken wire into a big puffball, but it will be stiff underneath and keep the kitties off. My cats will curl up next to it, and maybe mash the edge a little, but it works like a charm!!!

  11. Linda,
I sent you a picture to the support email of Bunny Mellon’s greenhouse and her topiaries. When I walked in I immediately thought of you. Hope you can find the picture. I wish YouTube allowed pictures in the comments.
