Hi guys,
I think I fucked up by repotting her. I suspect the new pot is way too big, because it was in a cheap 5cm plastic pot from the store and the roots were actually tiny. I didn't have any smaller pot and panicked about the shitty soil from the store keeping it too wet so I repotted into this pot which is probably 10cm. Now it's getting these lighter maps on its leaves. I checked for pests and even placed glue traps but didn't find any. What should I do to make her happy again? Should I repot asap to a smaller pot? She gets some direct sunlight (2h?) and then it's indirect light which might not be strong enough. For lack of better space I bought full spectrum grow light that I put on her today hoping it might help her grow the roots quicker. I water twice a week and try to monitor the soil with moisture meter.

Thank you so much!

Btw the flies on there are actually fruit flies. The fungus gnats that I had before I got her are hopefully gone now as I don’t see any new ones and have parasitic mites against them in the soil still.

  2. You should water less expecialy when the pot ist too big. My adansonii lives in a clear plastic pot so I can see when the soil is mostly dry and then I water. In my case this is every 10 days.
