Lol. I just saw this on Facebook too. If you zoom in you can see small clear hooks that the vines are rested on. Just put the hooks where you want a point and follow the pattern around.

While it looks cool, it doesn’t seem like the plant is too happy. It looks etiolated and one of the vines is dying at the end.
Also, the nodes will totally bury themselves in the wall eventually.
If you do that, the roots will anchored into the wall and damage the wall surface. If you don’t mind with spending some time and money with putty fillers, they don’t cost much. If you trying to pull off the roots, it’s likely to damage the roots.

Don’t use the adhesive clips, they’ll pull your paint off. We’ve changed to hook push pins, so much easier.

Maybe mount a sheet of plexiglass to the wall first and use little command hooks to train the vines. I don’t think the roots would go through that.

Yikes
Either hooks or push pins
Reminds me of the [spiral](https://blogs-images.forbes.com/paultassi/files/2019/04/thrones-spiral2.jpg) in game of thrones
Just grab it and yank. Easy.
